Strategic Plan

The College of Technology's 2003-07 Strategic Plan outlines the college's strategic direction. It encompasses more than 1 1/2 years of planning and collaboration among faculty and staff, the Dean's Executive Council, alumni, and industry advisors.

It also is in keeping with the University's overarching strategic goals of learning, discovery, and engagement. And the plan focuses on four key areas that will be essential to the sustenance and growth of the college:

• hiring and retaining outstanding faculty and staff
• continuing the development of effective and revelant curricula that prepare
  graduates for initial and career-long success in areas of industry need
• scholarship and applied research
• fundraising and alumni development
